Mr. Retention
Founder of the Face2Face Retention Program

Paul Brown is recognized as one of the world's leading authorities on member retention and membership growth. He is the creator and founder of the Face2Face Retention Program, IHRSA's Official 120m x 2010 Retention Program.
An Australian national, he is in high demand as an international business consultant but still also enjoys leading many of the major Face2Face accreditation events around the world. Each year he trains hundreds of Health Club owners, Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers, Membership Sales Consultants and Front Line Staff on the latest techniques in finding, winning and keeping more members. He and his company have built a global entity with key partnerships and agencies in Latin America, the United Kingdom, Europe, the USA and Canada, New Zealand and his native Australia.
He has been a committed and dedicated fitness professional since 1980 and a successful and award-winning health-club owner and operator since 1985. Paul is also an accomplished athlete with many achievements including winning 4 Australian Men's Aerobics Championships in the 1980's and as recently as October 2016, he represented his state of Queensland to play in the National Premiership winning team at the 2016 Australian Football League Masters Carnival.
He is a best-selling author and an entertaining educator with an infectious passion to change and save lives through the benefits of fitness with active and healthy lifestyles. Since 1991 Paul has been the feature and keynote speaker at almost every major fitness and health convention in the world including keynoting a wide variety of IHRSA events, sharing his expertise and visionary insights on member retention, marketing, management, sales and programming. In 2014 he was named AFN Presenter of the Year.
Paul is also the architect of the F2F-IT software program and devotes much of his time designing new innovations and features for the continued evolution of his systems.
. For his 50th birthday, in 2014 Paul took a year to travel the world with his family to promote active and healthy lifestyles to kids and their grown-ups in a quest called 50 Sports in 50 Weeks. Paul, his wife Jacqui (51) and son Ben (9) tried a different sport each week for 50 weeks, in 50 iconic locations in 26 countries and with 50 of the world's greatest sporting champions, coaches and mentors.
At each location, they then visited local schools and communities to spread their message that everybody can get "off the couch" and find at least one sport they like and benefit from. A camera crew followed their every move and a documentary for television is earmarked with the amazing footage and stories that unfolded along the way.
At every step, Paul Brown believes in, lives and promotes exercise, healthy and active lifestyles as an essential path to living life to the full and his proven business and retention systems now help spread and leverage that experience to benefit health and fitness businesses and millions of their members.
